WSOF 5: David Branch def. Danillo Villefort via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Photo credit: Lucas Noonan, WSOF

I wanted to actually do more striking with him, but I got a little tight out there. I think it was die to the weight cut. I've got to work on that because I'm losing a little bit of pop, and I've got to work on the grappling. I've got to adjust. But I've got the tools to do the striking. I've just got to show it now, but my body seized up a little bit.

"I got a little tight out there and I think it's because of the weight cutting, so that's something I have to work on.

"It feels really good. I was the first fight for the WSOF and I want to be the first middleweight champion for them.

"I have so many people to thank, especially Renzo Gracie and my entire team.

"I'm happy to get the W. Being in a televised bout it was important to put on a good show. But I was tight at the start and never really felt loose."
