The Ultimate Fighting Championship® will help lead an after--school mixed martial arts class for local disadvantaged youths on Thursday, September 20

The Ultimate Fighting Championship® will help lead an after--school mixed martial arts class for local disadvantaged youths on Thursday, September 20 at Old School Muay Thai, as part of its UFC Community Works® program.

UFC® fighters Brendan Schaub and Rory MacDonald will help lead participants through a 60-- minute MMA class. This program is only offered to these participants through the generosity of Old School Muay Thai gym and its members. The UFC is happy to offer a helping hand at the workout and will make a financial contribution to support this worthy cause. The event acts as a pre--cursor to the upcoming UFC® 152 event, set to take place at Air Canada Centre, in Toronto, on September 22.

UFC Community Works® is a Canadian program that seeks to make meaningful contributions to communities in need from coast to coast with a particular focus on at--risk youth. It has teamed with Show Your Strength, whose mission is to combat the childhood obesity epidemic in North America by increasing awareness and access for at--risk youth in the areas of athletics and nutrition.
