Round 5 President Damon Lau
announces the release of the Ultimate Collector Series 10 featuring twelve new
figures. The lineup includes debut figures for UFC bantamweight champion
Dominick “The Dominator” Cruz, perennial contender Chael Sonnen, heavyweight
striking sensation Alistair Overeem, former WEC lightweight champion Anthony
“Showtime” Pettis, and the first man to claim the UFC heavyweight championship
belt, Mark “The Hammer” Coleman.
The lineup also includes new
figures for reigning middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva and
former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida. A Limited Edition Mark Coleman
figure based on the Hammer’s historic performance at UFC XII: Judgment Day
anchors Ultimate Collector Series 10. Each of the 750 Limited Edition figures
is individually numbered and bears a sticker autographed by Coleman. The
Limited Edition Coleman figures also come complete with Coleman’s original
Ultiman heavyweight title belt, and are housed in vintage UFC collectible
packaging.
“The characters comprising
Series 10 reflect the evolution of mixed martial arts,” says Round 5 president
Damon Lau. “Dominick Cruz, Anthony Pettis, and Chael Sonnen have been fighting
for years. They paid their dues in the WEC before they became superstars in the
Octagon. After becoming the UFC’s first heavyweight champion Mark Coleman lost
three straight in the Octagon. A lot of fans said he was finished, but he
resurrected his career fighting in PRIDE. Series 10 pays homage to the work
ethic and sacrifice that transforms ordinary men into extraordinary fighters.”
Each figure in Ultimate
Collector Series 10 arrives on shelves in collectible and protective UFC-themed
packaging that includes a short bio detailing the individual fighter.
Ultimate Collector Series 10
will be available at Walmart in Canada, and Toys”R”Us in the United States. For
