The highest-rated mixed
martial arts magazine show on television, Spike’s “MMA Uncensored Live,” is
expanding to a full hour and moving to its new 10:00 PM ET/PT timeslot
beginning Thursday, September 20.
“MMA Uncensored Live”
features radio personality Craig Carton as host with former middleweight
fighter Nate Quarry and mixed martial arts veteran journalist Luke Thomas as
fight experts.
Launching this past February,
“MMA Uncensored Live” has attracted the biggest names in the sport as guests,
including Jon Jones, Chael Sonnen, B.J. Penn, Alistair Overeem, Tito Ortiz,
Josh Koscheck, Roy Nelson, Junior dos Santos, Frank Mir, Stephan Bonnar, and
Rashad Evans.
The most recent installment
aired September 6, featuring guests Dave Bautista and Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal,
and delivered a series record 696,000 viewers.
“MMA Uncensored Live”
broadcasts each week from the heart of New York City at the iconic MTV Studios
in Times Square. The multi-platform show features a look ahead at the weekend’s
big mixed martial arts fights, and a look back at the action from recent bouts.
The show features lively debate and discussion with the show hosts along with
live in-studio interviews with many of the world’s top fighters, in-depth
investigative features and action-packed highlights, as well as viewer
