NO MORE UFC 151???

For the first time in UFC history Dana White had to pull the plug on UFC 151 8 days before the show.
Dan Henderson had to pull out of the fight do to a knee injury. John Jones had opponents not accept the fight to move up and take the challenge except for one man. Who else? Chael Sonnen who accepted in a flash and moving up to 205 for the challenge which would be 8 days notice.
John Jones? Eh "I am not accepting this fight". Greg Jackson refused to let John Jones accept this fight on short notice and on a guy who is moving up a weight class on actually 3 days notice because the last week is media and not working out much except for weight cutting.


This comes as a shocker do to the fact real champions accept any challenge. Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture. Wanderlei Silva, Anderson Silva, Forrest Griffin, Rich Franklin. These are guys who never ducked anyone and accepted the fights win or loose. That is what a champion is made of. These guys did not have hand picked fighters but fought guys at the top of their weight class to defend the crowns.

This puts John Jones on another level as not accepting a clear advantage fight. This shows that his coach does not have true faith in him and that Chael is a huge threat at a heavier weight.
Come on now! 8 days notice.. technically three days.. Why not take it? The fans are voicing their opinion on this one and clearly John Jones has lost many fans on this matter .
