Nate Diaz will face Ben Henderson on December 8 in Seattle Washington on Fox.Nate Diaz was rumored to get the next title defense ,and as we stated there would be a follow up story.
Nate will get his well deserved title shot. Ben Henderson who has gone 10 total rounds with Frankie Edgar has won two very close split decision fights. Many fans think Frankie has won both fights . The last being even more close than the first.
You cant keep having rematches when you have more exciting talent waiting for their turn. Nate will get his first title shot in the UFC and another title shot added to the Cesar Gracie team. Gilbert Melendez has a title defense coming up . Jake Shields just won a recent fight against Ed Herman and Nick Diaz is out of action until his suspension is lifted and is able to get back into the cage.
Nate will have his second fight on FOX which he dominated over Jim Miller on his first appearance.
Looks like Nate has come to a home ever since returning back to the lightweight division. 3-0 Since.
Ben Henderson has been perfect since coming to the UFC 5-0 he remains with one title defense. What a war this will be when these two lightweights collide. I will say this!
