Unleashed To Be Held At The National Guard Armory Of Teaneck On June 28

Teaneck, NJ – On June 28, 2012, Teaneck National Guard Armory will stage one of the largest professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) events to take place directly outside of New York City– “UCC 5: UNLEASHED.” This is the FIFTH event of the Tri-State area’s premiere professional fight series: Universal Combat Championship (UCC).

 with coverage beginning at 8:00pm EST on June 28, 2012.

Headlining the fight card will be a featherweight matchup between Kenny “The Tooth Fairy” Foster (10-6) (fought in Bellator Fighting Championships’ 2011 Featherweight Tournament) vs. K Dojo’s Maratbek Kalabekov (14-4) making his US debut. Co-headlining the event will be Rene “The Brazilian Bomber” Nazare (10-2) (Bellator Veteran) vs. Anthony “Cheesesteak” Morrison (17-10) (WEC Veteran).

The “UCC 5: UNLEASHED” Fight Card will feature 10+ professional bouts including:

Featherweight 145 lbs – Kenny Foster (10-6) v. Maratbek Kalabekov (14-4)

 Lightweight 155 lbs – Rene Nazare (10-2) v. Anthony Morrison (17-10)

 Light Heavyweight 205 lbs – Mike Stewart (7-3) v. Erick Tavares (5-9)

 Heavyweight 265 lbs – Jarrell Miller (0-0) v. J.A Dudley (5-9)

 Lightweight 155 lbs – Darren Goodall (0-0) v. Maykon Santos (0-1)­

Universal Combat Championship debuted their first event in March of 2010, “UCC 1: MERCILESS,” and has continued to distinguish itself as the premiere ALL PROFESSIONAL MMA fight league in the Tri-State area. The league’s recent success has been powered by an arsenal of exciting matchups, featuring championship caliber fighters such as Rolles Gracie, David Branch, Dante Rivera, John Cholish, Andy Main and Felipe Arantes. The UCC has also proved itself as an impressive breeding ground for first-time professional fighters and upcoming talent. The UCC has gone on to produce 4 exciting events in 2010 and 2011, and will look to exceed the expectations of its viewers with UCC 5. Appearances will include DJ David S and DJ Yonny from New York’s hit radio station 92.3NOW. These incredibly talented DJ’s will be providing live music entertainment for the evening.
