“Razor” Rob McCullough. Ricco Rodriguez. Names synonymous with MMA’s expansive
growth over the last decade both inside and outside the cage all had the
guidance and direction of TNT Fight Management founder Dave Thomas. From MMA
legends to the world’s top MMA prospects, including former NCAA Champion Bubba
Jenkins, Thomas has entrenched himself as one of MMA’s elite managers, and
looks to continue to grow the ever expanding TNT Fight Management.
“I’ve been fortunate in my
career to work with some of the best athletes in the world, and I take this
position very seriously,” Thomas said. “I’ve been around the sport since the
early 90’s and had almost every situation imaginable thrown at me. I fell in
love with this sport at an early age and that passion is still as strong as
ever.”
Aside from his management
role, Thomas was also the agent that was able to successfully navigate and
complete a multifaceted entertainment and fighting alliance for Tito “The
People’s Champion” Ortiz with Bellator. The deal includes fights with Bellator
as well as appearances on TNA Impact Wrestling, shoulder programing and sponsor
activation for Punishment Athletics.
Thomas was also responsible
for guiding the hottest prospect in MMA, Bubba Jenkins, to a unique,
multi-fight developmental contract with Bellator that will see the former NCAA
Wrestling Champion fight 5-6 times this year with Bellator.
